Publisher, Revenue and Advertising Policy

1. Publisher

The World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI) is owned and published by the IBEX Institute of Social Sciences Research & Development, which supplies the staff, systems and technical support the journal needs to operate.

2. How the Journal Is Funded

Because every article is free to read, WRRI has no subscription income. Its publishing costs are met mainly through the article processing charge paid on accepted papers (see Article Processing Charges), with support from the publisher.

3. Money and Editorial Judgement

Financial matters are kept entirely apart from academic assessment. Neither payment of the APC, nor a waiver request, nor any other financial relationship with the journal or the publisher affects:

  • whether a paper is sent for review;
  • what reviewers conclude;
  • whether a paper is accepted or rejected;
  • how a paper is prioritised; or
  • when it is scheduled for publication.

Editors reach their decisions independently, following the journal's editorial and review policies.

4. Advertising

WRRI may carry a small amount of relevant advertising on its website. Advertising is never linked to submission, review or acceptance, and advertisers or sponsors have no say in which papers are chosen, who reviews them, what is decided or what is published.

5. Keeping Advertising Distinct

Any advertisement will be clearly labelled and visually separate from scholarly content, so it cannot be confused with an article, a review or an editorial communication. The presence or absence of advertising has no bearing on any manuscript.

6. Sponsorship and Conflicts

Sponsors cannot influence academic content. Commercial or financial ties that could raise a conflict are dealt with under the Conflict of Interest and Funding Disclosure Policy.

7. Openness

WRRI publishes its charges and financial arrangements on its website, while respecting the privacy of individual payment matters.

8. Independence of the Editors

The publisher provides administrative and production support but does not interfere in academic decisions, which remain the responsibility of the editors under the journal's aims, scope and ethical standards.

9. Revisions

This policy will be updated if the journal's funding, revenue or advertising arrangements change, and important changes will be announced on the website.
