Licensing Policy

Articles in the World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI) are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, unless a different licence is stated on the article.

What CC BY 4.0 Permits

Any user may:

  • Share the article: copy it and redistribute it in any format or medium; and
  • Adapt it: remix, transform and build upon it for any purpose, commercial uses included,

on condition that they give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence and say whether changes were made.

Recommended Credit Line

When reusing a WRRI article, include as much of the following as possible:

  • the authors' names;
  • the article title;
  • the journal name, World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI);
  • the year, volume and issue;
  • the DOI or a stable link;
  • a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence; and
  • a statement of any changes you made.

Authors Keep Their Copyright

The licence is granted by the authors, who remain the copyright holders (see Copyright). They may therefore reuse and redistribute their own articles freely, citing the WRRI version.

Material from Other Sources

Figures, tables or text owned by third parties may carry their own terms. Authors must obtain permission for such material and mark it clearly, with its source and licence, so that readers know it is excluded from the CC BY licence.

Commercial Reuse

CC BY 4.0 allows both commercial and non-commercial reuse, subject to correct attribution.

Where the Licence Is Shown

The licence is displayed on each article page and in the article PDF, with a link to the official licence text.

No Effect on Decisions

The licensing model has no influence on whether a paper is accepted.

Licence Changes

An article's licence is not changed after publication, except to correct a genuine error; any such correction is recorded openly.
