The World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI) publishes its charges openly so that authors can plan for them before submitting.

The APC
A single Article Processing Charge of PKR 10,000 applies to each article that is accepted for publication after editorial assessment and peer review.
Free to Submit
Submitting a manuscript and having it reviewed costs nothing.
When to Pay
Authors are asked to pay only after they have received a formal letter of acceptance. No payment is requested at any earlier stage.
What the Charge Pays For
The APC helps cover the real costs of producing an open access journal, including:
- editorial office and administration;
- organising peer review;
- copyediting, typesetting and proofreading;
- online publication and hosting;
- upkeep of the journal website and submission platform;
- long-term digital preservation; and
- DOI registration and metadata deposit, where applicable.
Payment of the APC does not secure acceptance.
No Hidden Costs
WRRI levies no compulsory charge other than the APC. If an author asks for an optional service, its cost will be agreed in writing beforehand.
Waivers
The journal has no automatic waiver scheme. Exceptional requests are considered case by case, by staff who take no part in editorial decisions, and a waiver has no influence on acceptance.
Separation of Payment and Decisions
Editorial decisions are based only on the quality, originality, relevance, method and ethics of the work and on the reviewers' reports. Payment, or the ability to pay, never affects:
- editorial screening;
- the selection of reviewers;
- the review outcome;
- acceptance or rejection; or
- the order of publication.
Refunds
Since nothing is charged before acceptance, refunds rarely arise. Any payment problem is dealt with individually and fairly.
Openness
All charges are listed on this page and in the Author Guidelines so that authors know the costs in advance.
