Repository and Self-Archiving Policy
The World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI) encourages authors to make their work as widely available as possible, including through repositories and academic networks, in keeping with the journal's open access, copyright and licensing policies.
1. Versions Authors May Deposit
- Preprint: the version submitted to the journal, before peer review.
- Author Accepted Manuscript: the peer-reviewed, accepted version, before WRRI's copyediting and layout.
- Published version: the final article as it appears in WRRI.
2. Timing
There is no embargo. Authors may deposit any of these versions at any time, including immediately after publication.
3. Suitable Locations
- institutional repositories;
- subject-based repositories;
- personal or departmental websites;
- researcher profiles and academic networking sites; and
- any other lawful, non-commercial scholarly archive.
Mentioning a service here is not an endorsement of it.
4. Linking to the Published Article
Each deposited copy should cite the article (authors, title, journal, year, volume, issue) and link to the published version, preferably by its DOI.
5. Licence and Copyright
Published articles carry the CC BY 4.0 licence described in the Licensing Policy. Depositing a copy does not transfer copyright, which stays with the authors under the Copyright policy.
6. Third-Party Content
Authors are responsible for ensuring that any third-party material in a deposited version may lawfully be shared.
7. Preprints and Prior Publication
Posting a preprint or other permitted version does not count as prior publication and does not prevent consideration by WRRI, provided the version is clearly labelled.
8. Changes to This Policy
WRRI may revise this policy as practices in scholarly communication develop.
