Article Processing Phases

A manuscript sent to the World Review of Research and Innovation (WRRI) passes through seven phases between submission and publication.

  1. Online submission: the author uploads the manuscript and supporting files through the WRRI submission system.
  2. Technical screening: the editorial office checks the similarity report, the length of the abstract and of the paper, the keywords and the citation style.
  3. Author corrections: if anything is missing or out of line with the guidelines, the paper goes back to the author for correction before it can proceed.
  4. Language review: papers that clear screening are read for language and presentation.
  5. Double-anonymous review: the paper is sent to independent subject specialists who do not know the authors' identities.
  6. Editorial decision: a paper moves forward when at least two reviewers support publication; otherwise it is returned for revision or declined.
  7. Production: accepted papers are copyedited, typeset and published online in the current bi-annual issue.
